Nebraska CARES is seeking individuals to serve as steering committee members for the next stage of our work, starting in September 2023. Team members are working to identify and recruit members.

External Communications

Coordinates development of professional knowledge dissemination activities and maintains the Nebraska CARES online presence.

Internal Processes

Strategizes, coordinates and documents Nebraska CARES team activities and conducts a quarterly evaluation of internal communication practices. The group also examines institutional practices/norms and makes recommendations for change.

Interprofessional Leadership

Develops, leads and evaluates the interprofessional leadership graduate seminar, and shares outcomes with External Communications and Internal Processes working groups to inform efforts.

Social Network Analysis

Organizes, conducts, and evaluates a social network analysis of UNL faculty and organizational partners. The group shares outcomes to inform the Stakeholder Meetings working group and Steering Committee formation.

Stakeholder Meetings

Organizes, conducts and summarizes outcomes of consensus-building, facilitated partner meetings across the state. The group also works with Steering Committee to identify potential members.

Steering Committee (Working Group)

Identifies, recruits and facilitates the Nebraska CARES Hub Steering Committee.

Storytelling

Coordinates interdisciplinary approaches to tell Nebraska stories that support Nebraska CARES Hub development. The committee will work closely with the External Communications working group to share stories.
